Photography; the art of capturing life in a still, to share with your friends, family, and internet strangers for clout. What started as a time-waster has quickly turned into my favorite passion, behind binge drinking and screaming at whatever broken car project is sitting outside the barn.

My name’s Kevin, and I like to drive and hike around the area and try to capture both the regular moments and not the not so ordinary. I started shooting with a Nikon D3400 and a stock 55mm lens, and have recently upgraded to the big boy Nikon D500. One thing I’ve learned in my short time appreciating this hobby is that it’s not about the gear, it’s about the photographer behind the shutter. Cheesiest line since Cheeto’s talked about the dust in the bag, but you read it.

So join me as I strive to improve, to go on more stupid hikes and get covered in ticks, or chased out of fields by two angry rednecks in a Dodge Ram, or get lost in a new city because my phone has lost GPS for the umpteenth time.
